Panic

Attachment-1_edited.jpg

Panic attacks/disorders can be extremely unsettling and often results from feeling over-stressed and over-tired. Some people have one or two episodes and some people have them regularly. Many people report feeling a sense of disorientation, dizziness, or a tingling sense in their neck before having a panic attack, as well as, thoughts of suffocation or choking when they have one. Most people report also having anxiety and a lack of control over events in their life that they have kept bottled up inside their bodies, which suggests that a panic attack may be a way of helping the body discharge feelings of overwhelmingness. Although cognitive-behavioral therapies can help people facing panic attacks, it is often necessary for people to re-assess the stressors in their life that may be keeping them feeling overwhelmed.
